Deck Guns and Devastators – aiming manually
Manual aiming system for heavy weapons. Activation, target lock and ballistic differences between Deck Guns and Devastators.
Manual targeting system
Supported weapons
Currently only two weapon types support manual aiming:
- Deck Guns
- Devastators
Activation
A ship with the right weapon shows an activation button in the combat UI.
Target selection
- Tap the activation button.
- The weapon's range indicator appears.
- The target must be within range at the moment of the tap.
Target lock
- The target glows gold to confirm the lock.
- All Deck Guns and Devastators aim at the locked object.
Ballistic considerations
Devastators
- Projectiles fly with small random deviations.
- Even with a lock, expect some scatter.
Deck Guns
- They aim at the enemy's current position - they do not predict movement.
- No lead is calculated.
